NAPE DG killed in road crash

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Director General of National Academy for Primary Education (NAPE) Md. Fazlur Rahman (55) was killed in a road crash on Saturday morning.
The accident took place in Baroiarhat area of Fatikchhari upazila around 9.00am when a microbus and a rod-laden truck collided head-on.
Four others, including two NAPE officials, were also injured in the accident.
The accident took place in front of ‘Ananda Community Centre’, leaving five, including Fazlur, injured.
Later, the injured were rushed to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Fazlur dead.
The NAPE officials were going to Khagrachhari to attend a programme there.
