NBR mulling to launch VAT service centre

Economic Correspondent: National Board of Revenue (NBR) is going to launch service centres for Value Added Tax (VAT) at field-level offices across the country.

The centre will present the new VAT act easily and help people to get rid of confusions over any VAT issues.

VAT related books, booklets, leaflets, magazines would be displayed in the centres. A legal expert also will be there engaged to provide legal procedures over VAT.

Meanwhile NBR Chairman Md Nojibur Rahman, also Senior Secretary of the Department of Internal Resources, directed the concerns to set up the centres in the field level.
