NBR selects 515 highest taxpayers

M A Rahman Masum: The National Board of Revenue has selected 515 individuals as top taxpayers for their contribution to the national exchequer in the fiscal year 2017-18.

Of them, 370 individuals are selected as highest taxpayers while 145 selected as long time taxpayers. NBR issued gazette notification containing the names of selected taxpayers.

The notification signed by deputy secretary Mohammad Abdur Razzak, confirmed the matter.

The board has picked a total of 515 taxpayers from all 10 city corporations following various categories including long time taxpayers, highest taxpayers, female and young taxpayer, a source from NBR confirmed.
