Staff Correspondent: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid urged the authorities of the educational institutions to stop collecting additional fees from candidates of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
The minister made the call in a meeting with a teacher delegation in the secretariat on Monday.
Nahid said actions will be taken against the educational institutions that are charging additional fees from candidates during SSC form fill up.
“Those who are collecting extra registration fees from students will have to return the money. The ministry officials were directed to conduct investigation and take action against such educational institutions,” he said.
