Staff Correspondent: Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said there is now no need any new consensus in the country as it has already been made over Rohingya issue.
The Awami League (AL) Presidium member made the comment while addressing a programme in a capital's hotel on Friday.
In reply to the call of a national consensus made by BNP, Nasim said, "The consensus has already been made over the issue. Leaders of the all parties are going to Rohingya camp areas with relief materials. They are appreciating the moves taken by the government."
"People from the entire world have stood beside Rohingyas responding to the urge of the Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The whole world welcomed the steps of the government. Is there anything left to make consensus?" he added.
