Nat’l occupational health, safety day to be observed Saturday

Senior Correspondent: The National Occupational Health and Safety Day will be observed in the country on Saturday (April 28).

The theme of the day is 'Healthy workers, safe life-ensuring sustainable development'.

The labour and employment ministry have chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the day.

President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages on the day.

A discussion, arranged by the labour and employment ministry, will be held at the auditorium of Krishibid Institution in the capital on the day where President Abdul Hamid will be present as the chief guest.
