Neo-JMB Mizan held in city

Staff Correspondent: Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police detained the key arms and explosives provider of banned extremist outfit neo- Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh.

The detainee is identified as Bara Mizan.

DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media) Masudur Rahman told risingbd.com acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers detained him from a house near Kakali crossing area in Banani.

Detectives said Mizan collected weapons, grenade-making materials, detonators and explosive gel from border areas in Chapainawabganj and sent those to neo-JMB men elsewhere in the country.
