Bangladesh set 258 runs target for New Zealand

Sports Desk: Bangladesh batsmen have scored 257-run losing nine wickets from their 50-over quota against New Zealand in their second match of the Walton Tri-Nation Series at Clontarf Cricket Club Ground in Dublin on Wednesday.

Soumya Sarkar scored a responsible 61-run off 67 balls while Mushfiqur Rahim scored 55 runs facing 66 balls. Besides, Mahmudullah and Mosaddek Hossain amassed 51 and 41 runs respectively.

Hamish Bennett picked up three Bangladeshi wickets while Jimmy Neesham and Ish Sodhi took two wickets each. 

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl first against Bangladesh.

Both the teams made one change in their previous lineup.

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza returned to the squad after overcoming one-match suspension for over-rate bowling dropping pacer Taskin Ahmed.
