Nidahas Trophy: Shakib out, Liton in

Sports Desk: There was a doubt over Shakib Al Hasan's availability in Nidahas Trophy. And finally, the doubts became true as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) named Liton Das as replacement of him.

BCB, through an email message, confirmed the matter on Saturday noon.

The all-rounder ruled out of Sri Lanka Tri-series due to his finger injury.



Shakib will remain out of the field for not only few matches but also the whole series when Mahmudhllah Riyad will lead the Tigers in absence of Shakib during the series.

However, BCB did not disclose the name of deputy for Mahmudhllah Riyad in this upcoming Nidahas Trophy.
