Niloy murder: Submission of probe report now April 11

Staff Correspondent: The submission of the investigation report of blogger Niladri Chattopadhyay Niloy murder case was deferred again to April 11.

As the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case failed to submit the probe report on the scheduled date today, the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashek Imam fixed the new date.

Earlier on August 7, 2015, blogger Niloy was hacked to death by a group of assailants at his rented flat on the 4th floor of a multi-storey building at Goran in the capital.

Later, the victim’s wife Ashamoni filed a murder case with Khilgaon police station.
