Nine to walk gallows for murdering Hanu in Khulna

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: A Khulna court has sentenced nine persons to death in a case filed for killing Bhadrabila union Awami League president Provash Roy alias Hanu in Khulna.
Judge Abdur Rab Hawladar of Sylhet Divisional Speedy Trial Tribunal passed the order on Sunday noon.
The convicts' are- Bhadrabila union chairman Sajidur Rahman Mina alias Sahid, Md. Ilias Mina, Ashikur Mina alias Ashik, Rasel Mina, Enayet Mollah, Yeasin Mollah, Mamun Mina, Bashar Mollah and Rabiul Mollah alias Rabiul Sheikh.
The convicts were present in the court during verdict.
The court also fined them Tk 50,000 each.
