Staff Correspondent: The fire that that broke out at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport did not cause any disruption in taking off and landing of the scheduled flights.
Airport sources said that a Cox's Bazar-bound flight of Novoair left Dhaka airport just after the fire incident in the airport. Besides, passengers were allowed to enter into the airport as the fire has been tamed.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines Director Iqbal Karim said that fire service workers are working to make the situation normal.
Earlier, the fire broke out on the second floor of airport's main building at about 1:50pm.
