No negligence of govt in Khaleda’s treatment

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said there is no negligence of the government in BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s treatment. Her treatment is running with the prescription of expert physicians.

The Minister said this while speaking at a programme at the capital’s Tejgaon on Sunday.

Earlier, BNP alleged of negligence in the treatment of the party chief.

Home Minister said for BNP leaders that what you are noticing of negligence in Khaleda Zia’s treatment? Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) is the highest level hospital of the country. There are all necessary facilities and expert physicians in the hospital. She was given treatment by them. What are you sensing of negligence there?

“Khaleda Zia is being given proper treatment. Necessary steps for her treatment are being taken as per the jail code. Physicians of the jail checked up her. They thought that Khaleda needs suggestions of expert physicians. Now she is being given treatment what expert physicians prescribed,” he added.
