No program after 5pm on Pahela Baishakh

Staff Correspondent: Government has imposed restriction on all outdoor programs, gatherings after 5pm on Bengali New Year 'Pahela Baishakh.

Nur-E-Alam Mina, superintendent of police (SP) of Chittagong District made the announcement at a programme in Chittagong on Sunday.

He said that strict direction has been issued from the Home Ministry.

Deputy Commissioner Shamsul Arefin presided over the program where Upazila Chairman of several upazilas, Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) and other officials attended.
