No threat of terror attack: Home Minister

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said there is no threat of terrorist attack that can hamper the celebrations of Eid-ul-fitr.

The Minister made the opinion while addressing newsmen after checking security measures in city markets on Wednesday.

Asaduzzaman Khan said that police forces were made alert. However, there is no terror alert yet. Security measures have been taken so that any kind of terror attacks could not take place in main Eid congestions.

He also said that the law enforcers were deployed in city markets during Ramadan so that general people can continue their Eid marketing safely.
