'No threat to security'

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said violation of airspace by Myanmar helicopters or deploying military on border is not threat to Bangladesh security.

He said, "We are patiently observing the incidents. We believe in resolving the crisis through discussion."

The Minister told this to the reporters at his office of the ministry at Bangladesh Secretariat on Tuesday noon.

In reply to the Myanmar allegation over sheltering terrorists in Bangladesh, Home Minister said, "Bangladesh never shelters to any isolated outpost or terrorists and will never do that."

"Our law enforcement agencies are alert so that Rohingya people who fled to Bangladesh from Myanmar cannot get involved in crime," he said.
