'No waterlogging in capital in next monsoon'

Staff Correspondent: Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain said that there will be no waterlogging in the capital in next monsoon season.

The Minister said this while replying to query at a seminar over 'Medical Wastage Management' at Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Sunday.

He said this problem of waterlogging was not created in a single day. How it took time to be created, it will also need time to remove this.

We are working in a coordinated way to resolve the problem. Hope, it will be removed by the next monsoon, the minister added.

He said we are regularly monitoring the reasons of creating waterlogging in the capital. We are also taking initiatives to solve the problems we detect.
