Staff Correspondent: Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque said every necessary step has been taken by police to prevent any kind of unwanted incidents. Law and order situation is under control of law enforcement agencies. So, there is nothing to be panicked for people.
The IGP told this to the reporters after visiting Sadar Ghat launch terminal at around 4:00pm on Saturday.
Top officials of police including Dhaka Metropolitan Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia were present during the visit.
