Noakhali Correspondent: Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader said, “The government want an election with participation of all political parties. What we (government) have to do if BNP itself does not participate?”

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister told this to the reporters after offering Juma prayers at Chaprashihat of Kabirhat under his electoral area in Noakhali on Friday.

Quader said, “BNP was failed over quota-reform movement, complaining to foreign powers and finally depending on students’ demonstration demanding for safe road. Now their politics has turned into rumours and terrorism.”

“BNP, with heart and soul, is trying to create situation that prevailed in 2014 election, through skipping participation in the upcoming general election. It is now clear by their animus evolved language,” he added.
