Nusrat killers to face exemplary punishment: Info Minister

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud said exemplary punishment will be ensured over the incident of madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi killing.

He said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already instructed administration and investigation organisations to ensure fair probe into the incident. The justice over the incident will be ensured following legal procedures.”

The Minister said this while speaking at a programme in Chattogram on Friday.

He also urged all to be alert so that such incident cannot be repeated.

Over BNP demonstration to free its chairperson from jail, the Minister said, “Khaleda Zia is not a political prisoner that she should be freed by movement. They have to go through legal battle.”
