Nusrat murder accused Kader arrested in Dhaka

Senior Correspondent: A team of Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has arrested hafej Abdul Kader, an accused in the case filed over the killing of Feni’s female madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi.

He was arrested from Hoseni Dalan area in the old Dhaka on Wednesday morning.

Inspector Md Shah Alam, also the investigation officer of the case, confirmed the matter to risingbd.

After a five-day battle for her life, Nusrat Jahan Rafi succumbed to her burn injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on April 10.

Nusrat, who was burnt allegedly after refusing to lift sexual abuse charges against Principal Sirajuddoula of the madrasa, died at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery of the DMCH.
