Oikyafront wants to meet President Monday

Senior Correspondent: Dr Kamal Hossain, chief of Jatiya Oikyafront, has sent a letter seeking an appointment to meet President Abdul Hamid on Monday (December 17) ahead of the 11^th parliamentary election slated for December 30.

Confirming the matter to risingbd.com, BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Kabir Khan said a letter, signed by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s personal secretary ABM Abdus Sattar, was earlier sent to the President’s House, seeking an appointment to meet him on December 17.

He said Dr Kamal, also the President of Gono Forum, will lead a 10-member delegation during the meeting if they get the appointment.
