Oikyafront’s road march today

Senior Correspondent: Jatiya Oikyafront, the opposition alliance, will launch a road march towards Sherpur on Saturday as part of its election campaign ahead of the upcoming 11^th parliamentary election slated for December 30.

The road march will be started through holding a street rally on Shafiuddin Government Academy ground in Tongi at 2:00pm.

The alliance leaders will address various street rallies to be held in different places on the way. They will hold the street rallies in Gazipur Chowrasta, Bhaluka and Trishal of Mymensingh and Sherpur through Fulpur.

Top leaders of the alliance including Dr Kamal are expected to participate in the road march.

Nagorik Oikya leader Mahmudur Rahman Manna, also a leader of the Oikyafront, said, “We have announced the road march programme in protest against the attacks that took place across the country during the election campaign.”

We have already sent a letter to police informing them about the programme, he added.
