One killed in city road crash

Staff Correspondent: A man was killed in a road accident at Badda link road in the capital early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Sarwar Hossian Tipu, 30, a resident of Gudaraghat area in Badda.
Masud Sheikh, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Badda police station, said the accident took place around 1:00am when a bus of Turag Paribahan hit a motorcycle which Tipu was driving, leaving him critically injured.
Tipu was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where duty doctor declared him dead around 2:30am, the police official added.
