Over 20.31 lakh students to sit for SSC this year

Secretariat Correspondent: Over 20.31 lakh students will sit for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations on January 1 (Thursday).
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said this at a press briefing in his secretariat on Wednesday noon.
He said a total of 20,31,899 students will sit the examination. Of them 10,23,212 are male students and 10,08,627 are female students.
Last year the total number of students was 17,86,613.
Students from 28,551 educational institutions will take part in 3,412 centers under 10 education boards this year.
