Overflowing crowd at Sadarghat launch terminal

Staff Correspondent: Thousands of vacationers are crowding at Sadarghat, the main river port of the capital, ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, to avail a homebound vessel.

After visiting Sadarghat launch terminals, the hundreds of holidaymakers were seen to wait for their expected transports and water vessels. Most of the homebound passengers crowded at the terminals before noon today.

Home goers were seen hurriedly boarding water vessels to reach their destinations at different districts in the southern part of the country. A festive mood is prevailing to the face of all.



Naval police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), coast guards and other law enforcers were deployed at launch terminals to ensure tight securities. Fire servicemen were also kept ready for any kind of emergency.
