PM becomes emotional watching 18-minute documentary

Senior Correspondent: Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal presented an 18-minute documentary before placing the budget for fiscal year 2019-20.

The documentary highlighted the history and heritage of Bangladesh, economic discrimination and exploitation, various economic developments of the government, contribution of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and different issues including his killing.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was seen to become emotional during the multimedia presentation of the documentary.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal started presenting the national budget in Parliament for the 2019-20 fiscal year around 3:07pm.
