'Bangladesh-India relation now very strong'

Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the relationship between Bangladesh and India is now very strong.

The premiers made the opinion while addressing a press briefing at her official residence Gono Bhaban in Dhaka about the outcome of her four-day visit to India.

Sheikh Hasina said that there is nothing to be frustrated over India visit. Nothing can be found through conflict.

She said that several undisputed issues were discussed during the meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“India prime minister has pledged to sign the agreement. We can wait with patience for signing it, Sheikh Hasina said.

She also said, “We are in the downstream and thus water will come down.  None will be able to stop the flow of water.”
