PM donates Tk 90 lakh to four artists

Entertainment Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday gave financial assistance of Tk 90 lakh to four artists.
The four artists who received donation from the prime minister are noted film actor Prabir Mitra, actress Rehana Jolly, film actress and dancer Nutan and folk song ‘Samrat’ (king) Kuddus Boyati.
Sheikh Hasina handed over cheques for the financial assistance to them at a function at her official Ganabhaban residence here around 10:00 am.
She gave financial assistance of Tk 25 lakh each to Prabir Mitra and Rehana Jolly and Tk 20 lakh each to Nutan and Kuddus Boyati.
