'PM informed president from responsibility'

Senior Correspondent: Awami League General Secretary, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, Obaidul Quader said, "Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina shared the government's stance with the president on the verdict of 16th constitutional amendment from her responsibility."

He said, "As the chief of the government and the ruling Awami League, it was her (Hasina) responsibility to convey it to the president."

Obaidul Quader said this while addressing a programme at the secretariat in Dhaka on Thursday.

Quader said, "Not only sharing the stance over verdict, but also the premier informed President Abdul Hamid about the country’s latest flood situation and inquired about his health condition."
