PM issues strong warning against Yaba

Sujauddin Rubel, Cox's Bazar: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has issued strong warning against Yaba business.

She said those are involved in Yaba business will have to face punishment surely, whoever they are, there is no mercy for them.

The Prime Minister was speaking at a public rally organised by Cox's Bazar District Awami League at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

She said that there is a bad name of Cox's Bazar that supply of Yaba to the whole country goes from this area. "This Yaba business has to be root out," she added.

She also urged all, including parents, guardians, teachers and imams, to take strong stance against the social menaces like terrorism, militancy and drugs.
