PM stresses online news portal registration

Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has put emphasis on bringing all types of news portal under registration.
PM came up with the stress while speaking her post-budget press conference at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka on Friday afternoon.
In reply to a query made by an online news portal reporter, PM asked whether the portal is registered?
She said, “No online news portal can run without registration. A lot of news portal are emerging here and there. All should be brought under policy. All the online news portal must be registered. At first register the portal, then I will reply.”
