PM to inaugurate book festival on Saturday

Secretariat Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the book festival at Ganobhaban, the official residence of her, on the occasion of free textbook distribution among students.
The primer will inaugurate the festival formally on Saturday (December 30) around 10:00am through a programme.
Education ministry sources said that the ministry will observe book festival at Azimpur Govt. Girls School in Dhaka on January 1, 2018. Besides, Primary Mass Education Ministry will start their programme from Dhaka University's central playground.
At least 354,285,000 crore books will be distributed among students this year.
