PM to visit Gopalganj Wednesday

Gopalganj Correspondent: Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit Tungipara and Kotalipara on Wednesday.

A fax message signed by prime minister’s assistant personal secretary-1, Kazi Nishat Rasul confirmed the matter.

The message stated that Sheikh Hasina would start from her official residence Ganabhaban at 8:00am on Wednesday, reach Tungipara around 12:00pm and offer prayers at the grave of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at 12:30pm.



Later, the premier will address a rally at her own constituency in Gopalganj’s Kotalipara around 2:30pm. She will then spend the night at her own house in Tungipara, and leave for Dhaka at 10am on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the local leaders and activists have already started preparing for the prime minister’s arrival, holding rallies and making other arrangements.
