PM to visit Tungipara Wednesday

Gopalganj Correspondent: Being the Prime Minister for the fourth term and forming new government under her leadership, Sheikh Hasina will pay a visit to Tungipara here on Wednesday to pay homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Kazi Nishat Rasul, the protocol officer-1 of the premier, sent a fax message to Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner in this regard.

Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to leave Dhaka for Tungipara from Tejgaon Airport with helicopter around 10:00am.

She is expected to place floral wreaths at the grave of the Father of the Nation around 11:00am and she, then, will join a prayer in the graveyard.

Hasina is scheduled to leave for Dhaka at 12:20pm.

Several members of the new cabinet are set to pay tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara, said several sources from Awami League.
