PM walks bare footed at sea beach

Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has walked bare footed at Inani sea beach at Ukhia in Cox's Bazar.

Sheikh Hasina reached the sea beach around 12:30pm on Saturday. She along with her entourage and several army officials walked in water in the sea beach.



Of them, Prime Minister was bare footed and was looking very much cheerful.

Earlier, the Premier opened the 80-kilometre marine driveway along the coastal belt from Kalatali to Teknaf and announced that the existing highway from Chittagong to Cox's Bazar would be developed to a four-lane road considering the growing importance of Cox's Bazar for the country's economy.

She also inaugurated the country's first longest marine driveway paving ways for tourists to enjoy the beauty of the world's largest sandy sea beach and socioeconomic development of Bangladesh's far east region.
