PM’s speech mysterious; says BNP

Senior Correspondent: BNP has termed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s speech over “one-eleven” as “mysterious and interesting”.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed came up with the observation at a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan office in the capital on Wednesday noon.

Sheikh Hasina said, “Information about the protagonists of one-eleven has been found. They must face trial later.”

In reaction to PM’s speech, Rizvi said, “What made her (PM) to talk contrary over 1/11 suddenly after so many years. You (PM) are still in power and why you are leaving it for future. Common people want to know why you are not bringing them to the justice now.”

He also alleged that the government is interfering on Khaleda’ bail procedure directly.

He said, “Not minus two, the incumbent government is desperate to implement minus one formula.”
