Pakistan seamer Amir becomes father of baby girl

Sports Desk: Pakistan pace sensation Mohammad Amir has become father of a baby girl.

The fast bowler who got married last year posted a photo of the newly born and wrote on his official twitter account, "Shukar Allhumdulilah blessed with the Rehmat of Allah."

In the photo Amir is seen holding his bundle of joy with the baby girl.



A large number of his fans and well-wishers have congratulated the new guest and put ‘like’ on the photo.

The manager of Pakistan team also confirmed the birth of daughter to Amir’s wife.

It may be mentioned that Amir cannot play the Independence Cup-- comprising of three T20Is-- against World XI as he needs to stay beside his family at the moment.

The series, which is arranged by the ICC in order to revive international cricket in the country, is starting today evening (September 12) at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and will end with the final match on September 15 in the same Stadium.

Amir, one of the most exciting fast bowlers in the world, made his comeback last year, spending time in jail and serving a five-year ban for spot-fixing scandal.

He played an important role collapsing top order of India, to win Pakistan's historic title of the Champions Trophy this year.
