People killed in Rubi Villa are JMB members

Staff Correspondent: Commander Mufti Mahmud Khan, spokesperson of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) said three people who were killed in Rubi Villa of the capital's Nakhalparha are JMB members.

He told this to reporters beside the militant den on Friday noon.

He said the militants had a plan to carry out sabotage in the capital after forming a cell. On this information, drive was conducted at Rubi Villa. Sensing the presence of law enforcers, militants hurled grenades and fired bullets to them. In retaliation, law enforcers also fired at them, leaving them killed.

Two pistols, three IED and explosive gel were recovered from the den. Besides, two grenades and a suicidal vest were also found inside the den, he added.
