People turning against militants: Home Minister

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that the people of the country have started fighting back the militants' responding to the call of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. (update news)

The Minister made the assertion while addressing an anti-militant rally at Jessore Zilla school field on Thursday afternoon.

He said that the militant activities are not fully eradicated but in control. Conspiracy is still underway in the country.

A total of 19 attempts took place to kill the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Local and international conspirators are trying to kill her. So, we have to be alert, he added.

Khulna Range DIG SM Moniruzzaman presided over the program where State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadek, Jessore-2 MP Monirul Islam, Jessore-3 MP Kazi Nabil Ahmed and others attended.
