Photographer Shahidul walks out of jail

Staff Correspondent: Noted photographer Shahidul Alam walked out of jail on Tuesday night, five days after he secured bail.

He was released from Dhaka Central Jail around 8:30pm.

Mentionable, a High Court (HC) bench granted bail to the prominent photographer Shahidul in a case filed under Information and Communication Technology (ICT) act on November 15.

The renowned photographer was picked up by plainclothes men from his home in the capital's Dhanmondi on August 5.
