Poet Shahabuddin Nagari arrested

Staff Correspondent: Police arrested Poet, composer and singer Shahabuddin Nagari from Nikunja Residential area at Khilkhet in the capital on Monday.

Officer-in-charge of New Market Police Station Atikur Rahman told risingbd.com that in a drive police detained him from the area early hours of Monday over a murder case.

Atikur Rahman said that once upon a time, Shahabuddin Nagari worked in National Board of Revenue (NBR). He was booked over the murder of a businessman Nurul Islam on April 13.

The businessman Nurul Islam was found dead in the bedroom of his flat in Dom Inno Apartment Complex at Elephant Road in the capital.
