Poll-time government in October: Obaidul Quader

Secretariat Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, also the general secretary of ruling Awami League said there is a possibility to form poll-time government in October.

The Bridge Minister made the assertion while addressing newsmen after a meeting at his secretariat on Wednesday.

He said the size of the poll-time government and cabinet will be small.

"However, the overall poll-time government issue depends on jurisdiction of the Prime Minister. She will take final decision," Obaidul Quader said.

He also said, "The poll-time government will take charge just after the announcement of election schedule. The incumbent government will take that charge but the size of cabinet will be small."
