Poll-time govt with parties in JS

Secretariat Correspondent:  Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said that the polls-time government will be formed comprising representatives from political parties in Parliament.

Obaidul Quader said this at a press conference at the Secretariat in the city on Sunday.
“The size of the poll-time government will be small and it will comprise political parties represented in Parliament,” he said.

He also said there is no scope to change or amend the Constitution now. “The general election will be held in accordance with the Constitution and the Election Commission (EC) will conduct the polls. The poll-time administration will assist the EC for conducting a credible election,” he added.

He also said, “BNP does not have any preparation for launching movements; people will not respond to their call.”
