Polls in 122 upazilas Mar 31

Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission (EC) has announced schedule for polls in 122 upazila parishads in fourth phase on March 31.

The last date of nomination paper submission on March 4. Verification is on March 6 while the last of nomination withdrawal on March 13.

EC Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed made the announcement on Wednesday noon.

According to schedules announced by EC, voting in 87 upazilas to be held on March 10 in first phase while 129 upazilas on March 18 in second phase and March 24 in third phase.

EC Secretary said Election Voting Machine(EVM) will be used in sadar upazilas only from third phase.
