Power sector to get highest allocation

Staff Correspondent: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has said that power sector will get highest allocation in the next budget.
He also said the revenue earning pressure will increase in the upcoming budget.
The finance minister said this while holding a meeting with the editors of news papers and officials of television channels at the Secretariat on Thursday.
The finance minister said that at present there are 32 thousand VAT payers in the country. In the next 5 years, number of VAT payers will be 5 lakh.
