President, Prime Minister mourn death of Golam Mostafa

Staff Correspondent: President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday expressed deep shock at the death of Golam Mostofa Ahmed, lawmaker from Gaibandha-1 (Sundarganj) constituency.

In separate messages, the president and the premier prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed deep condolence with the members of the bereaved family.

Earlier, the lawmaker died around 8.35am on Tuesday at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the city.

On November 18, he was injured as a bus crashed a microbus on Dhaka-Tangail Highway near Bangabandhu Bridge in Natiapara area of Delduar upazila. Later he was admitted to the hospital.
