President to host iftar for ulema, FFs, orphans Sunday

Secretariat Correspondent: President M Abdul Hamid will host an iftar party for alem-ulema (religious scholars), war-wounded freedom fighters, family members of Birsresthas, orphans, and officials and employees of the Bangabhaban tomorrow.

President's Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin confirmed this to media on Saturday.

“The iftar party will be held at the Darbar Hall of Bangabhaban,” Joynal Abedin said.

Before the iftar, a special munajat will be offered seeking divine blessing for continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation, he added.
