President to start talks with EC on Feb 7

Staff Correspondent: President Md Abdul Hamid will hold talks with outgoing Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad on February 7 to constitute the next Election Commission.

Director (PR) of Election Commission Secretariat SM Asaduzzaman confirmed the matter on Wednesday afternoon.

Asaduzzaman said that earlier the commission sought time to meet the President and the Prime Minister. The EC got the time to meet President Abdul Hamid but the schedule to meet the Premier is not fixed yet.
