Quader urges party men to be active on social media

Senior Correspondent: Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader has urged his party leaders and activists to be more active on social media ahead of the next general election.

He also instructed the party men to come up with reply against propaganda.

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister said this while speaking at a seminar at Engineers Institution Auditorium in the capital on Friday.

Quader said, “We cannot make strong reply against the propaganda conducted against our party on social media. Everything is changing. We should change ourselves. We need to change our publicity strategy with time.”

“It is not time to hold seminar in an air condition room. Now it is time to make a strong position on social media. It should not be ignored anymore. We have to take the social media to extend the party publicity,” he added.

He also suggested the Publicity and Publications Sub-Committee of his party to be concentrative over the matter.
